Mission accomplished... everyone made it to Lands End intact.
Had a little preview of what's to come, both looking at the terrain from the train and the ten miles from the station to here. Am expecting the first two days to be the hardest of the whole trip, so slightly apprehensive about tomorrow. Everyone has gone to bed early to be fresh for the morning. Massively excited though... the ride here was beautiful, directly into the setting sun, with the sea in sight and a fullish moon spookily peering down at us. Tomorrow we turn around and head east into the rising sun and a whole bunch of unknowns.
